Outfit: New dawn, of styling

Oh me oh MY!!!  Looky what happened to my hair?!
It's BLACK and it's short and sleek and sexxay and so fun I can hardly contain my excitement!
I was at the point where if I didn't find someone to cut my hair I would have wound up chopping it myself... and that would have been all sorts of bad!  Luckily I called up my sis-in-law-to-be's sister, Miss Teresa at Dyemonds and Curls and she specializes in bringing sexy back! hahaha!!!  I am just hoping I can integrate this new look with my own style... i dont think i will wear my hair this straight, but who doesn't love a salon blow-out?!

This day was also awesome because I was one of the zillions that got to go see Breaking Dawn Part 1!
Team Edward all the way!!! saved my edward sweethearts for movie snack! My husband was sweet enough to go with me and not make goofy comments.  He is a good sport about my not-so-secret Twilight fetish!  The movie was brilliantly done in comparison to the book, I thought.  I was really surprised.  It followed the book, but added the spark that a movie translation would need!

Also, check out my new watch from Charming Charlie.  I love that it wears like a hinge bracelet because my wrists are so thin, it's hard for me to find linked watches that fit well.  I like that it has both gold and silver and is in the oversized-menswear style.  Definitely a good find!  That store is amazing!  Hardly anything over $25 that I noticed!

What I wore:
Thrifted vintage Prince of Wales checked blazer with cobalt lining.  Thrifted blue blouse.  F21 striped bandeau underneath.  Shorts from Kohls. Tights from F21.  Over the Knee Boots bought in Germany.  Material Girl earrings and bow ring.  Michael Kors aviator sunglasses.  Harvey's Original Seatbelt bag.

I want to point out that my next few posts are going to be a little extra special!  Monday will be my 300th post and for that I have something super special!!  My first guest blog is going up, so be sure to check it out!

xoxo...
Vanessa

  1. Oh yeah! I like it! PS, I have tiny wrists, so I have to take all my linked watches to a jeweler to have links removed.
