the long farewell

It was great that my parents threw a sweet fare-thee-well party for the husband.  He kept saying "there's not going to be many people there" and he was really surprised by how many people showed up to give him love, support, kind words and just spend time with him.  I didn't get to take as many photos as I hoped, but I am so incredibly grateful for everyone that was able to come, as well as the people that could not be there but still sent kind words, thoughts and prayers.

Ugh, he's only been gone about three days.
I promise this will not turn into a Vanessa-misses-Jorden Blog... but this is my life...
