Accordion to me

I finally got it!!!! An accordion skirt! The American Apparel one was not in my budget, however, on a recent thrifting trip, my daughter pulled this one from the rack suggesting it to me, without even realizing her epic find! It was actually floor length but the silhouette was not that great so I trimmed it up a little bit. I love the zigzaggy crinkle of the bottom and thought it went well with the arrows on this tee… I finally wore my new shoes and they are surprisingly comfortable. I thought the crinkle on them went along with the crinkle of the accordion skirt. Studs on my bracelet went with the studs on my hat. I tried to make the skirt more casual than it felt and I think I made it work. I LOVE this skirt and hope to wear it a lot!

It was a really fun day.  We stopped over at the Rammstein indoor Flohmarkt.  I can't show any pics of that yet because I am working on a special guest post for Bella at the Citizen Rosebud (look for it mid-April) and I am uber super stoked about it!

I found Avii something special and she looked super cute too, wearing the shirt she picked out at H&M.  She always asks me to make her construction paper fans and I managed to find her a real one!

Yesterday evening we went to a community theater play of Sleeping Beauty.  It was soooo cute.  Definitely a fun Saturday!

What I wore:
Thrifted accordion skirt, jacket, Moschino purse, S.Oliver tee.  Shoes from Deichmann.  Hat from ebay.

xoxo...
