I love the longline looks of maxi skirts. I am not particularly tall, but I think I am a little bit on the longer-legged spectrum. Thigh high socks always come up to my knees! I found this skirt at the thrift store and it is large in the waist but I cinched it tighter with a jersey knit rope belt from another tunic. It was freezing outside for how sunny it was, but I was determined as all heck to NOT wear a coat... henceforth hidden cardigan and bundled scarf! I even wore knee socks and Uggs underneath the skirt for extra warmth. The wind chill factor is pretty crazy lately, but I will not complain... a day in Germany without rain is a precious one!
