My birthday tea party was too lovely for words. My first birthday party back in America was a success!
I had my girl friends and my family with me to celebrate and enjoy some tea and sweets and savories. It was awesome to have a reason to get all dolled up and be girlie too!
Can't get much more dolled up than this!
The food was ridiculously amazing. I had to high-five myself for all the sandwiches and eggs and little pastries I made. There was mint and cucumber, pistachio-cranberry-chicken with dijon, and ham and apricot. The cake was the Princess Cake from Ettore's in Sacramento and it was Heaven on a plate. By the grace of all that is delicious and good I was able to find French Macarons!!! Can you believe it? Shipped in from France that morning. We sipped on Twinings Earl Grey tea of course. I just had to bring a bit of European flair to my party!
Everyone looked so beautiful and I think everyone had a great time. I am so blessed and so lucky to have such fun, pretty and smart women in my life! That is the best gift anyone could ask for.
