First Day Kindergarten

It is so wonderful and strange that I have such a wonderful kiddo that is my own, and she is now old enough to start kindergarten.  She is excited and more than ready and I am so thrilled for her to start her awesome journey through her education and social life.

What she wants to be when she grows up!

I am doing my best to be a good mom... especially with the husband being away... I just want her to be happy and prepared with the things she needs and I hope she feels happy and safe and comfortable.  I am going to admit that I did not cry when I dropped her off.  I don't know if that makes me a crazy mom or what, but I think I am just too overwhelmed with gratefulness that she is so lucky and so happy, and I am just extra lucky to be here to see her off on her first day.  There was no room for tears when I feel so blessed.
