Be Productive

There is so much I need to catch up on right now!  I have mail to send, classwork to do, a house to clean.  My parents left on Friday and they made it home safe... but I was terribly sad, and so was Aveline... We enjoyed every moment of them being here... having fun, playing, traveling a little and lots and lots of food and cafe' au laits!!!  or milche kaffee as the Germans call it!
We went out to lunch last Wednesday and these are the pics I was able to get of my outfit.  It was freezing out and it was the last day without snow!  It snowed on Thanksgiving and it has snowed pretty much every day since!

Hope everyone has a productive week!  The Holidays are upon us!

Gratefulness. Thankfulness.

Lots and lots of fullness today!!!!
There is so much in my life that I am thankful for.
I am going to jump on the bandwagon and make my list:

I am thankful for my husband, Jorden... he loves me no matter how crazy I can be, he supports me, takes care of me and makes ALL of my dreams come true.. seriously... to the point of being ridiculous... I love him so much!
My bestest little buddy... my one and only babay girl!!!  My Aveline who is my sunshine and light of life!
I am so so so grateful and thankful for my awesome parents who took the time and money to come visit us out here in freezing Germany. They are overly generous and loving and I can't believe how lucky I am to have such great parents!  Avii is so lucky to have such amazing grandparents!!!!
I am thankful for my awesome brother and my new sister Jillian!!!  I am so happy that they are married and doing well and I can't wait to go and visit them!  I miss them all the time.
I am thankful to have such amazing family and friends that always think of me and my family.  I am thankful for the friends I have made here in Germany that I will never forget either.  I would be lost without all of these people!!!  I love you Mima, Pam, Robert, Michelle, KTK, Keara, Jennie, Natalie, Rebecca, Pia, Jodi and Jackson, Courtney, Octavia, Rosa, Vanessa, Denny, Sheri and Patrick, Robyn, Jenny... Thank you for just being who you are!!!

I have so much more to be thankful for... This blog could go on forever.  I am thankful for health and wellness that my family and friends have all been blessed with.  I am thankful for the amazing food I was able to have today.  I pray that all those that are not as fortunate as us will be better off SOON!

It snowed today!  I had a white Thanksgiving with my family!  Avii even got to make a snowman!  It was a wonderful day!
I also want to thank you for reading my blogs!!!  I appreciate anyone that does!  Stay tuned for more!!!

The Best Guest...

... photographer, that is!!  My Dad!!!!  Mike... He is awesome, and I'm not just saying that because he is my dad...  He is an amazing person and is full of knowledge in so many areas...  one of them being photography!!!
He was a professional photographer for a long time... back in the days of film and manual metering...  He has taught me some great lessons while he's been here and he has really enjoyed playing with my camera!  I have learned so much from him already and hope to learn more.  He has an amazing eye and skill to match.  Too many digital photographers waste shots knowing that you can retake and shoot as much as you like and need until you get the shot.  He took single shots and knew what he wanted out of each one.  I asked him to be my guest photog this week for my outfit post and he totally agreed! YAY!

here they are, what do you think?:

Hey everyone!  Sorry I haven't written in a few... I have been having waaay too much fun spending time with my family, and at the same time being miserable with schoolwork... but economics is over and I finally have a little time to write!
My parents are so amazing and fun and energetic and generous.  It is fantastic to travel with them.  They appreciate all they get to see, are adventurous with trying new things, they keep pace and can go on and on for hours, and they always look good doing it!
Antwerp is a place that has been on my list for a while.  We had an amazing stay in the beautiful city, even though the weather was a bit chilly and damp... that's Europe in the fall for ya...
We stayed across the street from Central Station (which is cathedral-like on its own) along "Diamond Alley."  I have never seen so many diamonds and Jewish people in my life!  It was so interesting... and SPARKLY!
The culture and history of the city was fantastic!  I am so glad we were able to visit!
